Perfecting the Pandemic Pivot: A Virtual Annual Benefit.

The global pandemic has changed almost everything, and one of our goals was to take on the challenge of producing a virtual event that leverages our strategic and creative skills and services. We achieved this goal last week, when we aired the Seeds of Africa virtual Annual Benefit, conceptualized, written and directed by nuAfrica.

Themed ‘Ten Years of Empowering the African Vision’, the event successfully raised $100K and we are beyond pleased with the result; a true celebration of global Black solidarity. The hour-long event featured uplifting stories of economic development and social impact, a fireside chat with Seeds founder Atti Worku, a virtual paddle raise by Sotheby's senior auctioneer Michael Macaulay, and exclusive performances by world-renowned artists Lucky Daye (US), Zeritu Kebede (ET), Langa Mavuso (ZA) and Jelani Blackman (UK) with music by DJ mOma.

If you missed our first foray into long-form film campaigns, you can still watch the event here:
